What documents might a gambling company ask for?

There is no standard document pack that every customer should expect to provide. The right evidence depends on the question. An operator might be checking identity, address, payment ownership, source of funds, source of wealth or something else that is relevant to the account.

Context matters

The same document can be useful for more than one reason

Example: bank statement

A statement might help confirm an account holder, show incoming funds, or provide the transaction trail behind a source-of-funds explanation. In a safer-gambling process it may also provide relevant financial context. The same document can matter for different reasons.

Example: payslip

A payslip can support an explanation based on employment income. It does not, by itself, prove the source of every gambling deposit, explain someone’s entire wealth, establish affordability or show that there is no gambling-related harm.
