GamRight is an independent information publisher. This page explains the data processing visible in the current site and the choices available to visitors.

Information and infrastructure

Our hosting and security infrastructure may process standard request information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, browser details, requested page and request time. GamRight does not claim that infrastructure logging is absent.

Public pages read a site-configuration document from Firebase. Anonymous writes to the former tool-usage and content-metrics collections are disabled.

Google Analytics

With your permission, GamRight uses Google Analytics 4 through Firebase Analytics to understand how the site is being found and used. This can include page views, session activity, traffic source information, approximate location, browser and device information and a pseudonymous client identifier stored in a first-party analytics cookie.

Analytics is optional. It is not initialised unless the performance analytics preference is enabled. If you decline analytics, GamRight does not use Google Analytics to count your visit.

Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses. For UK users, IP-address information is used to derive coarse location information and is then discarded before being logged. GamRight does not send names, email addresses or other directly identifying contact details to Google Analytics.

Google processes Analytics data to provide the measurement service. Google Analytics data may be processed outside the United Kingdom under the safeguards and data-processing terms Google provides for its services. GamRight does not use Google Analytics for advertising or personalised marketing.

Browser storage and cookies

• Essential browser storage: local storage remembers the consent decision and preferences. It cannot be disabled through the preference control.
• Optional analytics/performance: if enabled, Google Analytics uses first-party analytics cookies to distinguish users and sessions and measure site activity.
• Advertising and marketing: GamRight currently does not use advertising or marketing cookies.

Preferences can be reviewed or changed at any time on the Cookie Settings page.

Service providers and external links

The site uses service providers for hosting, administrative authentication, database functionality and, where consent is given, analytics. Public visitors are not offered account registration. External links lead to services with their own privacy practices.

Educational tools

Public calculators and explorers process entries in the browser. The current implementations do not submit or save those entries to GamRight. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own data practices.
