Sources & Methodology

GamRight is an independent publisher. We use primary and authoritative sources where practical, distinguish established facts from interpretation and uncertainty, and require human editorial review before publication.
01 · Sourcing

Primary sources

We prefer legislation and regulations, regulator publications, government and NHS material, official service providers, primary research and authoritative industry documentation where practical. Secondary sources may provide context. Important factual claims should retain links to specific relevant sources.

02 · Review

Editorial review

Discovered regulatory material is queued, reviewed and either approved or rejected by an administrator. Discovery never automatically creates public content. Review should also check the relevant jurisdiction, publication date and limits of the available evidence.

How we maintain independence

GamRight records sources and requires human review before regulatory discoveries can be approved.

Our editorial approach:

  • We identify the source of regulatory facts.
  • We distinguish established facts, editorial interpretation, estimates or model outputs, and material uncertainty.
  • Educational calculators illustrate defined assumptions. They do not predict an individual's results or provide personalised advice.
  • Structured directories are not rankings. Provider features are checked against dated sources, and known coverage limits are stated where relevant.
  • We provide a route for corrections and source updates.

03 · Corrections and updates

Corrections

Readers can report a factual error or provide an updated primary source through the contact and corrections page. Corrections are assessed against the cited evidence and recorded in the published material where appropriate.
